FISH DOG BONES, SALMON DOG BONES, FISH DOG BONE RECIPES

FISH DOG BONES

Here is the recipe for the “Fish Dog Bones.”  When you add all the ingredients together….I spent roughly $35 dollars to produce 250 tasty dog treats.  That translates to around 14 cents per bone.

Let’s start with the ingredients.  I used (1.5 LBS of salmon; ginger root; flax-seed oil; apples; coconut oil; blueberries; cantaloupe; bone broth; cheese; flour; carrots).

Take the salmon and place it in a pan.  I used a small aluminum foil pan.

Add 2 large tablespoons of coconut oil.

Cover with some tin foil and place it into the oven.  Cook for 45 minutes at 300 degrees.

Bacon.  Take 1 pound of bacon.

You may need to microwave the bacon for 10-15 minutes until it’s nice and crispy.

Now, don’t forget to pay attention to your furry friends from time to time.  He might need a good scratch or perhaps a piece of bacon.

Doesn’t he look pathetic?

Happy dogs.

Start with 12 cups of flour.  In the end, I used 15 cups of flour.

Cheese:  I used shredded cheddar cheese.  2 cups of cheese.  Toss it into the flour bowl.

CHEESE?  DID SOMEONE SAY CHEESE?

Chop up two apples and toss them into the blender.  Blend away until it turns into apple sauce.

now, this kid has some talent.  you might not want to use these apples!!!!

Take 1.5 cups of carrots and a piece of raw ginger.  Toss both the fresh raw ginger and the carrots into the blender and let it rip!!

One potential use for ginger for animals is the relief or prevention of gastric dilatation or bloating in dogs.  Ginger is effective in preventing dogs from vomiting.  Just use a little piece of ginger!!!

You know, this actually looks appetizing.  You might need to add 1/4 cup of bone broth before throwing it into the blender.

Take the bacon out of the microwave and cut it into tiny pieces.

ADD TWO LARGE TEASPOONS OF FLAX OIL

I KNOW.  IT LOOKS LIKE COD LIVER OIL.  DO YOU REMEMBER YOUR MOTHER FORCING YOU TO SWALLOW COD LIVER OIL TO STAY OFF A COLD?

WOW.  THAT SALMON LOOKS DELICIOUS.  ALMOST 2 POUNDS OF FRESH SALMON.  HECK, I DON’T EVEN EAT THIS WELL!!

OK, YOU KNOW THE ROUTINE.  CHOP IT UP AND PUT IT INTO THE BLENDER AND LIQUIFY THAT SALMON.  THEN, ADD  IT TO THE MIXING BOWL.

SPINACH.  I USED TWO LARGE CUPS OF FRESH BABY SPINICH AND TWO CUPS OF FRESH BLUEBERRIES.

YEAH…THAT DOES NOT LOOK GOOD!!

TIME TO ADD SOME FRUIT TO SWEETEN THE DOG BONES.

TOSS THE CANTALOUP INTO THE BLENDER AND BLEND AWAY.  POUR IT INTO THE MIXING BOWL.

NOW IT’S TIME TO START MIXING EVERYTHING TOGETHER.  WE DON’T WANT STICKY SO YOU MIGHT HAVE TO TOP OFF WITH SOME ADDITIONAL FLOUR.

LOOKING GOOD.

TOSS SOME FLOUR ONTO THE COUNTERTOP BEFORE YOU START ROLLING OUT THE DOUGH.

CUT YOUR FISH DOG BONES INTO FUN SHAPES AND TOSS THEM ONTO A COOKIE SHEET.

PLACE THE FISH BONES INTO THE OVEN AND BAKE AT 350 DEGREES FOR ABOUT 50 MINUTES.

AND THERE YOU HAVE IT MY FRIENDS.  FISH DOG BONES.  PACKED WITH TONS OF TASTY INGREDIENTS THAT WILL MAKE YOUR FURRY FRIENDS HAPPY.  WATCH THOSE TAILS WAG!!!!
